Claire Marshall, the President of C. Marshall and Associates Inc. provides clients with a strong combination of Indigenous community and corporate expertise.

Ms. Marshall has 25 years of experience specializing in Indigenous engagement and community development. She has over fifteen years of experience working in the natural resources sector including for BC Hydro, BC Transmission Corporation, TC Energy, LNG Canada, Teck Resources, Newalta, Nova Scotia Power, Fortis, Clear Seas and the First Nation Energy and Mining Council. Her experience in the corporate sector has been focused on meaningful Indigenous engagement and consultation, Indigenous procurement strategies, capacity development and relationship building initiatives.

Ms. Marshall has experience working for Indigenous groups and non-profits in such areas as employment and training, children and families, homelessness and housing. She has worked for First Nations assisting them with their community engagement and communications strategies. Claire has also developed and delivered cross cultural training for her corporate and non-profit clients.

She contributes numerous hours to the community as a volunteer and currently serves as a board member of Lu'ma Native Housing, the Law Society of BC and the Vancouver Police Board.

Ms. Marshall's community-based experience combined with her work in the corporate sector gives her a unique perspective that strengthens her ability to build effective engagement strategies.

Claire Marshall lives in Vancouver, British Columbia and is Mi’kmaq from the Millbrook First Nation near Truro, Nova Scotia.
